Silence, roaring sea and spectacular scenery...

Join us on one Denmark's most beautiful walks!

It runs through Denmark's first national park - Thy National Park. Five days with four different small inns and hotels, each with a seaside location or nestling the forest, and each with their special menus: fresh fish, local national park produce and traditional Danish dishes.

The hike takes place, with expert from the Danish Nature Agency.

During the hike, they will do their best to ensure that you get to see, taste and experience the local nature, in all of its varied glory!

Every day has its different nature - and every day, with your guide, you are led through some of Denmark's finest bird reserves, dune plantations, beaches, lakes and wild nature, with the added pleasure of being by the sea, near charming seaside and fishing villages.

Itinerary for hikes:

The tour starts at 10:00 from "Svanholmhus" Agger Ferry Port.
Agger is an international bird sanctuary, and a unique piece of nature with an exciting local, cultural history. We walk on the beach and partly along the old rescue road, between sea and lagoon.
Today's ranger is also an experienced ornithologist.
Approx. 10km.

We leave Agger 09:00 and go along the dike, north to Lodbjerg lighthouse, where we can go up and enjoy the fantastic view. Then we follow the rescue road over Lyngby Heath to the old fishing place of Lyngby, where a few pioneers settled in 1864. From here we go north towards the fishing village, Stenbjerg.
Approx. 20km

From Stenbjerg Inn, we leave at 09.00 in the "fisherman's footsteps", past the church and the first lifeboat house, down to the old landing place for fisher boats. From here we follow the beach to Nr. Vorupør, where a few big fishing boats set off directly from the beach... like in the "olden days"! North of Vorupoer we come back on to the rescue the road, which we follow to Bøgsted Rende and onwards to Vangså Heath and the old fishing settlement of Vangså.
(From May - September we head towards Klitmoeller, before reaching the edge of Nystrup plantation. Today's stage ends at Nystrup Camping).
Approx. 20km

We start at 9:00, from Klitmøller and follows the old Thisted road towards Vandet Lake, where we hit on the forest roads of Vilsbøl Forest. The route passes Nebel House site -the home to one of Thys first and grandest manors, before sand drifts crossed the dunes and took over! We wander through beautiful and lush forest, towards Nors (May - September we walk to Degnbjerg, overlooking Lake Nors).

We go from Nors pm. 9.00. After Nors Kirkeby followed Hindingvej west.
(In May / September tour starts at Tved Kirke pm. 9.00. We start with a walk into the church to look at some of the murals and hear the story of Tvedestrand. The trip continues through Tved Plantation - on forest roads and tracks - and more places we come to the edge of Hanstholm game reserve, where we can easily be lucky to see red deer, roe deer and maybe eagles.
Today's stage ends at Sårup in north edge of Tved Plantation.
Tour length is about 16 km.

The walks are conducted partly on gravel paths and on the ground.
